This year, for the first time ever, the school is planning to take eligible Juniors on a week-long college visit/civil rights tour. The Atlanta Mission Trip is designed to introduce scholars to competitive colleges during their junior year, visiting campuses such as Morehouse, Spelman, Emory, Clark-Atlanta, Georgia State, Georgia Tech, and nearby schools such as Auburn, Tuskegee, and the University of Georgia. Scholars will also engage in a historical exploration to understand the role of the civil rights movement on American public policy, visiting the National Center for Civil and Human Rights, for example.
Please help us make this visit a reality for our scholars. You can donate here.
  • Sponsor - A contribution of $950 will sponsor a scholar to attend.
  • Benefactor - $500 will offset the costs of accommodations and access to museums and other civil rights venues
  • Dream-Maker - $250 will help cover meals for the week-long visit
  • Friend - $100 will help defray the costs of bus transportation to provide college visits
  • Supporter - $25 will help cover miscellaneous expenses on the trip, allowing scholars to just enjoy and learn from the experience
